The Avengers is definitely the best adaptation presently.

Watchmen is a close second.

Don't know why Captain America didn't get in the lists'.. it was a very good film with great story/plot. Topnotch points on their rendition of his costume on-screen.

300 I thought was so forgettable.

Dont agree with the rating of the list. No V for Vendetta also?

aDDicteD4040d ago

yeah, v for vendetta is a nice entry and surprisingly not included in the list.

of the less mainstream comic book movies, Ghost world was one of my favourites.

another great one not on the list was American Splendor, starring Paul Giamatti as Harvey Pekar, the real Pekar also cameoed.
it's based on the semi autobiographical comic written by Pekar

Giamatti was brilliant in this.
it's just a damn good film.
weird, but good.

Ohh yeah! American Splendor had Josh Hutcherson in it as well didn't it?

I saw Ghost World when I was 9 and 10 years later I still have a crush on Steve Buscemi. That's right, judge me
