Guillermo del Toro Talks Dark Universe, His DC Comics Supernatural Heroes Movie

IGN:
I caught up with filmmaker Guillermo del Toro earlier today to talk to him about his latest producing effort, the ghost movie Mama, but during the course of our chat we of course veered into other geeky topics as well. We’ll be running the full interview with del Toro soon, but for now I wanted to share with you this update on his DC Comics movie -- a team-up of many of the supernatural characters from DC.

I had no idea he was doing this but I guess he is. Listen to the interview on the video.

Just the other day I was talking about Del Toro doing Swamp Thing would be cool & now I find out he would love to do that. This will be great if it happens. I wonder if WB will put this under the same universe as the Justice League film series or if this will be its own universe.

I kinda got the feeling it would stand on it's own. It's going to be a while before this is done but I'm looking forward to it.
