With the release of The Hobbit right around the corner, fantasy fans everywhere are sure to be getting excited as Peter Jackson takes us back to Middle Earth. The fantastical world created by Tolkien provides some great material that can be portrayed beautifully on-screen, especially with today’s technology. With that being said, today we are going to look at some other great fantasy novels that deserve their own movie.
Mother of the Bride Review: This movie is an embarassingly silly and crigny watch with no soul or substance.
The Guardian Of The Monarchs Review: This documentary evokes a profound sense of sadness as it sheds light on the shortcomings of investigations and raises crucial concerns regarding the perils confronting environmental defenders.
Thank You Next Review: This is an engaging and introspective watch about modern dating and the depths of relationships.
Never been to big on the fantasy, but Song of Ice and Fire definitely got me interested in the genre. Once the books get finished (fingers crossed) and the t.v. series finishes i would hope that someone figures out how to fit the books into movies... Sadly I don't think it will ever happen.
The Sword of Truth series (Wizard’s First Rule) is a brilliant collection of 11 books by Terry Goodkind. Would make a great tv series. Also Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series is a Great choice too, but takes a little longer to get into.
Always wanted The Talisman by Stephen King.
I heard when I was a kid that Steven Spielberg had bought the rights which was a match made in heaven to me, but I dont know how true that was and nothing ever came of it.
Shame. Great story.
Black Company would probably translate best to the screen. Fantasy war novels and great ones at that.
The Elenium and The Tamuli by David Eddings.
