Beautiful Creatures Review at Skewed and Reviewed

Tracey of Skewed and Reviewed Seattle has posted her review for the new teen romance "Beautiful Creatures". While it did have some issues according to Tracey, she found it a refreshing take on the teen love story films and looks forward to the next book in the series becoming a movie.

As a fan of the book, I couldn’t get past the drastic changes that they made to characters and scenes including motivations and impact. The film seems to rush along from scene to scene without ever letting the plot develop and worse, Ethan and Lena romance develop.

To me its a case of pandering to the studio rather than the fans. The book was a hit for a reason, I do not see why people have to meddle and say, sure it was good but my way will be better.

I'd agree with that. Personally I feel they failed at making it better their way and in the process, ruined a lot of the natural charm the novel had.

I am curious what the box office will be.
