All I'm saying is your talking with WB here, not Marvel. WB knows how to make a star out of everyone and advertise the product not the actor. Look at Batman compared to Iron Man. Batman never advertised "Christian Bale" it made him. Iron man was always "Downey Jr" and never Iron Man. Hell just look at the box arts.

This movie could be really good, but it shouldn't be like other comic book movies. Thats why im so interested in it. The cartoon was fantastic, so the live action one should be ten times better. Hopefully.
Ive always been an Ironman fan and I always saw Ironman differntly than the way he is being portrayed through the movies. Thus Im not enjoying them. That and from a film makers stand point he isn't doing a good job at making movies at all. In fact Michal Bay looks like a king of story telling when compared to these films. Jon has some interesting ideas, but an overall boring scope, and no sense of writing at all.
At the same time its not hard to erase it and make it start new. They dont essentially need a new actor to say "hey this is a new superman" like I said in comment to another article, hollywood just needs to be creative.

They did that alot in this franchise, mainly because its all based off a ride and they didnt know where they wanted to go with it. At first it was supposed to be all about Orlando Bloom, but midway through the first film they realized Johnny Depp is more relatable and easier to sell.
That and it was only made to be one movie. The first is one of the best movies ive ever seen. The other two were kinda just tacked on and had the title mixed in. I loved all of them, they just...
BTW is it just me or is the story of this a jist of The Boondock saints? They kill people, leave pennies on the eyes, and no one knows who they are. Its like taking that adding more action and sword fighting and bam this film is made.
I agree. Indie should be re defined as low budget films, that way we know who the real film makers are. Id be impressed with this if it were a real indie film, not a high budget so called indie film.
I mean Fox even has a company that will dump a few thousand into films and they are still called indie films. Doesnt make sense to me.
Oh god.....thats all I can say. I hated the second one, hate the director doing it, don't think its going in the right direction at all. 2013 please offer me better films than this.
Personally I think its marketing. They havent considered who will be Superman just yet, they probably already picked Routh to return, but won't admit it. Simply to help gain interest in the film, make people go see the film when he is announced, and get a bunch of free marketing. That and they probably want to see how desperate Routh wants the role. Tell him he aint getting it, see how much he begs, see how hard he tries, and see how much of a good actor he is.

I love Johnny Depp and Pirates, but they should of let it be after the third one. I hope the fourth one doesnt really carry anything from the past three and goes off on its own story. Otherwise it will be a milk fest and no one will respect the franchise anymore.

I say that with actors alot. Like Tom Cruise a few years ago, he was in a movie like every 3 months. I was telling people he needs to take a break and let people "forget" his face. Which kinda happened, but they do it to so many new actors now. Ryan Reynolds is a prime example. How many superheroes is he now? How many chick flicks has he been in? Hope he is making money because his face will be useless in like 2 years....

It just takes creativity to do it right and make money. Like I used Fun with Dick and Jane on purpose. It took the route of telling the story about a company screwing over people, and gave it a differnt perspective and made people laugh. What did the average person at this company do? They went out and stole things, discovered the secrets, and put them out there.

The same thing went with those remakes though haha. Nightmare on Elm street is a good example. The fans believed in it, they were all saying "horror is back" and the commercials lead us in that direction.
Sadly it wasn't so. With Hollywood the way it is today, I don't give hope into things like that. Maybe that means ill be blown away by this movie, who knows, but until I see a better trailer or see it for myself I will expect nothing more than another bad attempt ...
Notice most of thoe movies were computer related? I know others have been done like Fun with Dick and Jane, which was about the business that illigally transfered money and got caught etc....but tech related could be anything, like phones, mp3's etc...

Thats the thing, I got the complete oppsosite reaction to it. I always liked Scream because of the way it was done, and how horror movies used to be. Suspensful etc....however this one tossed the idea that its following the same path as Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th remakes, horrible bad attempts at horror films.
Hopefully Im wrong and it is just the poor quality of the leak, but from what Im seeing I wont be looking forward to this anymore.
Ha I was expecting the list to be nothing but older films that I wasn't too interested in, but I like most of this list lol. I will admit that if they re released some of them on Blu Id go back and watch them all again.
Really? I always thought Jackass would just demolish sales anyways. I mean it could come out during the summer and still compete with bigger movies, tossing it in an October line up is like sure win. At least my opinion.
That and the shows, Viva La Bam, etc...they have all been off air or playing re runs for years now. People have been waiting for Johnny Knoxville to make a return.
I was so excited for this movie, but that loooked horrible...The acting, cuts, alot of useless screams just to prove a point. come on....
The title isn't appealing at all, the subject is interesting, but then Devil comes to mind and I lose all interest. Its really hard to portray these things correctly in a 6 by 6 space. That and Devil is like the worst movie ive seen all year. So I dont know what to think of this film.
