well, Kitty does actually travel through time in the original comic booc version, so i'm not sure what the complaint is.
or at least her mind does, she goes back in time and possesses her younger self.
her younger self probably not being around when the in the past portion is set means they have to change that a bit.
admittedly i can't remember how the time travel was achieved in the comic version, whether it was a secondary mutation of Kitty's or ...
the thing is most, if not all, comic book characters change a lot depending on who's drawing them, most superheroes will have had hundreds of artists over the years.
and the character will look different with each one.
i'd have thought the guys acting talent would a better reason for choosing him, or not, rather than physical resemblence.
Strange isn't exactly a household name, he certainly doesn't have the same iconic status as Wolverine.
yeah, all of Strange's power is kept in the top 12 centimetres of his head, that's why Levitt couldn't play him. o_O
and anyway, you can't have an actor play a character if he's not the right height, what would happen if they did.
they might have somebody playing Wolverine who is a whole foot taller than the comic version.

it's been reported that the Asylum have made money on every film they've made.
mostly because of how little they cost, but still, a profit is a profit.
if they could make those movies for under a million like The Asylum do, i'm sure they'd get made.
that's why The Room gets shown to full houses so often.
