It has a bit of humor like Shrek. I would have prefer it to be more serious. That would make it stand out more.
If they make a Doomsday story then that would fit the darker tone perfectly. Maybe too extreme though.
Hans Solo and Indy make Harrison Ford a legend.
His more recent stuff are not as memorable to me.
But part of the fantasy is not only the wizard and his magic its also the whole world that he lives in.
The knights, monster, wizards,castle, and damsels add so much to the this fantasy.
I think spongebob is for the toddlers while the Simpsons is for anyone except small kids.
I'd rent the previous 6 or so movies then go to watch this in the theatre. Watch them all including the 1st one again.
Every Lantern film or cartoon needs Kilowog.

That is the formula. Lots of glitz but not so much quality. I like the recent Lantern animated film a lot: First Flight.

Karate Kid remake in there too. There is only 1 Karate Kid series and that is the original. Classic movie.

It was great. All of the team members were memorable. And the story was good too. But maybe it is not really an "alien invasion"?
They must be doing a great job writing because to keep a show that good so long takes a lot of talent.
I think the God Of War series would be a good action film.
