I think he might want to do something a bit different than Superman so as to not get type cast as only that character. I just saw him The Fog. It was a weak film but his acting was one bright spot.
All 5 were good choices but Caddyshack should have been listed.
Its the best sports movie ever.
David Hasselhoff was on "Knight Rider" not "Night Rider".
Probably my favorite show of all time. Loved the Pontiac Firebird.
That is what Spidey does best. That and swinging for buildings.
I think when they used her real name they probably mean Catwoman and her "civilian" role. Catwomen/Selina Kyle are kind of essential to get the most out of the character.
I'd prefer Julia Voth as Selina Kyle though.
Also this article has a lot of comments.
I think she is a good actress but I don't think of her when I think of Catwoman. She is talented so I think she'll do well.
I don't any version of this show can surpass the original tv show.
Comic book movies are showing up so much. I hope they are made well.
I really enjoyed the Spiderman trilogy and adored Superman Returns.
The first Ghostbusters is one of the greatest films ever for me.
Murray as Peter Venkman will be hard to duplicate.
I hope this one is better than Ghostbusters 2.
It's great to see another original member of the cast return.
Sir McKellen returns too as Gandalf. Great.
I wonder who will play Bilbo Baggins...
I totally agree with you. This films quality rests largely on the talent that makes them. Comic book based films have been a done so much in recent times and some sadly have been poorly made. I hope the Thor and Green Lantern are pulled off well.
That Alfred Hitchcock collection looks real good for film fans.
And the All in the Family season is great too. I have seen much that show but do know its a classic one.
I'm looking forward to the Marvel Thor movie. Hope it has the quality of the Spiderman films which were great. I don't know how well Thor can translate into a film though.
I think the biggest film of the year has to be the Harry Potter finale.
Nice list.
I'm really surprised those films haven't been released on Blue-ray.
Even tv shows are put on the format. Well I expect the Blue-ray upgrade soon.
And Titanic was a really good film.
Andy Serkis did a amazing job in the LOTR films. The CG was equally as good. Golum felt like a real person rather than a CG effect. Glad to see him back. The Hobbit is a bit different than LOTR but great as well.
The question is how well they work and why didn't the first batch of 3D tv's were not like this.
Child stars have a tough time after their child acting days are over. Here's hoping that all of them end up well and have good people around them especially their parents.
Nice list JL.
I liked Rocky 4 the most of the Rocky films. Drago's line, "I must break you" is great. I saw Raging Bull and in word I'd say it is gritty.
And check out "charlierose.com" for some great interviews of stars.
Mouse over "topics" at the top and then "movies."
Nice edit on CouchPotatoClub JL:)
I have been reading about the decline of DVD. I hope that never occurs. DVD's are such a big improvement over VHS. They don't degrade in quality and offer crisp visuals and superb sound. I really enjoy them. I haven't seen a Blue-ray movie yet.
There should be at least 2 or 3 Bruce Lee fights included. I did like that Star Wars Episode 1's Darth Maul scene made it though.
