I don't think reviews would matter for the Harry Potter series now.
Its so popular people would watch this next to last one anyways.

That is some feat considering there are so many books/movies and they pulled it off so well and with different directors.
They are showing a few of the movies on ABC Family Channel. I'll take a look at them.

Hal Jordan Green Lantern is good character and the movies seems good too. Checkout Sinestro at 1.29. It takes place in space too, very cool.

I'm confused as why someone described as the "worst director in the world" still gets to make films.

Good list. I really like "the Godfather" films but have not read the Puzo novel. "The Lord of the Rings" are great just like the books.
The next part of the list has to include "Gone with the Wind."

The title says "making it in a hostile industry." Well a lot of people are going to be hostile towards this film.

To make remake a great film is wrong. It would make sense if it was going to be a remake of a older film that needed changes to make it better. However The Wizard of Oz is as classic as classic gets.

Seeing these clips and good reviews is making me more interested in the series. I have only seen the first one.

"Spiderman" and "Spiderman 2" released again. God for people that missed them before.
"Peanuts Deluxe Holiday Collection (Ultimate Collector’s Edition)"
is nice too.

Mikael Håfström is must be new to Hollywood films. I have never heard of him.

"Megamind" is in the top spot this week. No surprise, its Dreamworks. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" is out next week and will smash its way into the top spot.

The reason is there are many Green Lanterns from Earth.
Hal Jordan is probably the most famous one. John Stewart is another Lantern.
Stewart was the Lantern on the JLA cartoon on the Cartoon Network.

The president is always looking for some camera time.
He is pretty at being in front a camera.
He is as charismatic as any actor.

Disney has mad this their big Summer release so I'm expecting them to be really "creative" with the story.
We are probably going to see Jack Sparrow's grandson as the star.

I was referring to older movies. The ones made prior to High-def. For example Star Wars. I know everything is film with HD camera currently. I see the cameras with the "HD" symbol a lot during sports broadcasts.

So the older films were filmed in HD?

The silver look makes it more eye-catching than the older poster. I like the addition of gold teeth and the beard too.

I haven't seen many of Martin Scorsese's films. I saw most of Raging Bull which was good but featured more of the out of the ring stuff.

I wonder how many people actually planned to see it in IMAX?
I don't it would have been much..

Why redo a an already great action film? It is just fine the way it is.
It would make more sense if it was a very old and poorly done film they saw potential in and wanted to remake.

Maybe its just the conversion to HD that is poorly done. HD on big screen really stands out to me. The newer films are the bests ones in HD.
