Die Hard was dead to me after the fourth one (still can't bring myself to use the actual title). They took what was a great fun action movie with a human being just trying to hold it together in a tough situation, and gradually turned it into a facile superhero film.

One of my top 10 all time fave films. Never ceases to provoke, challenge, stimulate and disturb upon each viewing. Kubrick is, like Shakespeare, a man producing art not just for the time he lives in, but for all times.
