By that logic, a sucky show's best episode would get a 10/10 rating. I don't see how that rating system makes sense then.

Not sure what you mean. I don't think someone can "take over" the show of the title character. He's the main bad guy like Kingpin was, if that's what you mean...

I mean, sure they're the same actors but we don't totally know that they they'll be the same character types as they've played before. Who knows?

Yeah, definitely. I think this show will really prosper with connections to The Clone Wars. What made TCW so great was that it had so many characters and that you could jump to any of them every other episode. Rebels stays with an only decent crew all the time. It gets kind of boring. The show is definitely getting better though.
Not gonna lie, I would've much preferred a Fincher version. Boyle's direction in this was pretty bland. I realize he had just wall to wall dialogue but he would insert random flourishes of style into it that just seemed so out of left field and felt very awkward. The acting and writing is really what carried this film.
I hope it comes soon. I don't think it has started yet. We've only got a few good horror films. Nothing really different from past years.

Hmm, I might start it up again. They just added Season 1 on Netflix and I think I should be able to find most of Season 2 On Demand or on Hulu.

Heavily relying on Superman is a bad thing? After all, he did get to Earth before her. Some of the dialogue and acting was a little ehhhh, but I think Benoist really did a good job. It's only a pilot after all. I expect it will steadily get better and better. I just hope people continue watching so it doesn't get cancelled!

I only watched this show twice. I just couldn't dig it. The comedy is just too silly for me. I'm more of a black comedy kind of guy, ya know?
Yeah, I've actually only seen it once but I remember loving it. I remember it being a little silly at parts, but John Carpenter's original idea for the Halloween series was for it to have a different type of Halloween based story for every film, almost like Twilight Zone. Sadly, that idea ended with the bad reception that Halloween III got.
