I loved the books but I'm not so sure about the movie.. I think you might have convinced me to give the movie a chance..

3D movies are still very gimmicky.. few seem to get the whole balance right.

Looks like a very interesting take on the supervillian/heroes theme.

These sorts of movies are pretty cool, and the music is good fun, but if studios can't put some more variety into it then the idea of building upon the series is sort of stupid.
