I'm going into this movie with little to no expectations.

Hypocritically, I expect to be pleased because of this.

I don't put much stock in what Hollywood pumps out these days, so most of my expectations are low.

I do enjoy the idea of going into Super 8 knowing practially NOTHING about it (besides the young people/coming of age plot).

I'm so sick of trailers that over-sell themselves and pretty much put the whole...

I thought Neverwas with Eckhart and Sir Ian McKellan was a great flick. Me and my wife randomly discovered it on Netflix instant streaming, and it was an incredibly well done movie. It also stars Brittany Murphy, sadly, giving a rather excellent performance herself. It's a shame she didn't get enough credit for her acting chops in her life. Not all of her roles were winners, but I enjoyed her performances in Neverwas and Ramen Girl.

There's some spoilers in that video. It's really brief, but it's there. Kind of a major one too. Thought I suppose if you haven't read book 7, it's not too bad, because you don't know the context of the image.

Can't wait for this movie though. The first part was excellent, and even my wife is looking forward to it (she HATES the Harry Potter books and movies, but she actually really enjoyed The Deathly Hallows Part 1).

The Donner films were Superman for a particular era. I grew up on the Donner Superman flicks, and I still love them to this day. I appreciate what Bryan Singer was trying to do with Superman Returns, and there was some good stuff in that movie.

I'm not actually a big Superman comic book fan, as I've never found the character to be terribly compelling (although Jeff Loeb's run on the book with Ed McGuiness was pretty solid, and focused more on the "man" a...

I could see him playing Dick Grayson (though personally, I always thought he'd be a great replacement for Heath Ledger's Joker. Levitt is a great actor as well). Not actually Robin in the movie, but I can see a storyline where Bruce sees a lot of himself in Grayson after his parents are murdered in front of his eyes, but instead of taking him on as his ward and making him Robin, he tries to steer him away from a patch of vengeance, as, in the end, you just wind up full of rage and alo...
