I never got what was so bad about Alexander. I'd rather watch it than Troy. Troy only has that really good Pitt/Bana fight scene, the rest is pretty lame. Alexander had some flair and was interesting. I like the first Hulk too, rather watch it than IM2.
It seems like a very out of touch way to bring in new people. Maybe they should do another "black show", especially considering that The Wire is probably their best one and OZ helped get them on the map.
Interesting trailer. That guy looks like the original Spartacus with his long hair & beard. Hopefully the mystery of her powers doesn't last the entire series.
It wasn't that awkward, it looks like he was going to return the kiss on the cheek and she was already leaning back because she was posing... it's not like he was trying to French her lol.
IM2 was overstuffed, which helped make the movie a letdown. It really depends on the script though. DC/WB and Snyder did a great job on Watchmen. So far it's only Bats and Supes, Wonder Woman is just a rumor and Nightwing could be in the movie 5 mins.
I'm betting on clone. His face does look a lot like the Vision though.
I'd rather them keep the Bale one going (with new director/writers) than have a complete reboot. Clarke and Larson are both likable though.
Del Toro seems to be a huge TV fan, which is why Pacific Rim had a lot of good TV actors (Sons of Anarchy, Always Sunny, Luther, The Wire, The Unit, and so on). Also, usually the "token black guy" is written to be/act black, while Elba has never really been stereotypical. Why would a movie about the world coming together have only white people anyway lol.
Dr. Strange has always seemed 50, 60 something to me. Hanks doesn't really have the look, but Strange should be an older guy like him or Gary Oldman.
To be fair, he picks crappy roles to stay out of jail since he needs money for taxes. He doesn't want follow Wesley Snipes there.
If they want to write their own fan fiction then fine, but thinking he actually died in the car is silly and no, not everything is "open to interpretation". Maybe the Sixth Sense kid was crazy and couldn't see ghosts... nope. This is worse than the Lost people who say they all died in the pilot; it's close to delusional.
I disagree about Jon being boring... Sam definitely is, but Jon is cool to me.
The show has really never had a ton of action, it's more of a political drama in a fantasy world IMO.
I was shocked over two people dying this episode... even though one of them hardly mattered. I didn't enjoy last season much, but this season has been very good. I liked the Woodbury stuff too.
Good review for the best show on TV right now. I'm planning on reading the books when this season is over.
I can wait to see Inception in the next day or two. It seems like it's going to be the only great summer movie this year, especially since Iron Man 2 was disappointing.
They indirectly said why the pregnancy thing happens and I don't see the big deal about the food drops, but I agree with the other mysteries.
All of the blockbuster movies look average to bad. Cyrus might be pretty good though. I don't get why Twilight is so big...
It always seemed like it would be a fun popcorn movie with no soul at best. At the very least, this will hopefully help other video game movies be better. Similar to what Blade and Spiderman 1 did to comic movies.
A Shield movie (Fury, Widow, and Hawkeye) doesn't sound that great, so a Widow movie alone isn't appealing to me. I do think Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, and other women can lead cool movies though.
I would say only having black guys as sidekicks or crappy mentors and nothing more (War Machine, Falcon, Idris Elba, Fury) or no non-white superhero leads (not counting aliens) is a bigger problem. I believe Black Panther is only a rumor at the moment. I'd much rathe...
