It's strange there were no complaints of SJW when Westerns only had white cowboys despite the fact that 50% of cowboys were Latino and 25% were black. Sometimes a lack of education can make things seem forced too.

Maybe the producers knew what they were doing all along. All those years of kissing white men's asses was based on their knowledge that huge numbers of them were too fragile to even imagine anything else. Maybe all this time society has been handing them all participation trophies because anything else would cause them to shoot up the place.

Hollywood sucks. The nonstop stream of reboots makes that clear as day. So the majority of what comes out of that mostly talentle...

It could be that there are a handful of people in Hollywood that control what we see and they only hire a handful of directors, actors and writers. They all follow formulas based on what sells the most tickets. There have been some really stupid reasons they have or haven't done something in movies over the years. So it's not a "social justice warrior" thing. It's a lack of talent maximize profits thing. Remember Star Trek was very controversial because of the Uhura and ...

Not being racist because I'm black which means I can't be racist. That's bs by the way. The idea black people can't be racist. But isn't this 30 year old source material? Do they even go to Wakanda in the source material or was that added on account of Black Panther potentially being a multi billion dollar franchise now. Comic books target a particular audience. For decades that audience was white kids. And though it isn't said maybe deep down inside white people cry t...

@NewMonday

Whether or not there is a Japanese live action or not in America we have enough diversity to stay true to source material. I personally don't care about people being able to "identify" with the characters. To me that a characters character is how I would compare myself with others. I don't walk into a room full of people and latch onto a known rapist because he's the only person of my race in the room. Because I believe character matters mos...

As listed by a 13 yr old girl.

How about West Wing, ER, Game of Thrones, Peaky Blinders, House. She forgot Hanna Montana on her list.

The fact that this is his first Oscar trumps any other controversy over the Oscars. You can go back to the 70s and he was writing some of the best scores ever written for film. I'm sure I'd have to check to find the winners over the last four decades but everyone knows some of his scores. Maybe the Oscars need a system more like the NFL with the pro bowl. The current system is broken.

Lion King may be the top for me too but no Nemo, Aladdin or Mulan makes this a terrible list to me.

Dishonor. Dishonor on you, dishonor on your site.

I think it's time to stop with all the remakes. It just shines a spotlight on how bad the people who make decisions in Hollywood are. Its not that they are all bad, its that the shotcallers seem to be incapable of spotting fresh talent and ideas. They are no longer any better at knowing what is worthwhile than the general public. The big difference is the general public only gets to see what they show us. Just think about all the movies and shows the callers turned down or quickly cancell...

Soze killed his own wife and kids. He seems pretty hands on. I believe he would have come out plus it pushes his reputation even more.

On the Matrix you might think the idea of the Matrix just doesn't make sense but theoretical physicist actually believe it is a very real possibility that our entire existence is a simulation. So it isn't as crazy as you think.

I'm sure there is a lot of footage that ended up on the cutting room floor. There will also most likely be a director's cut released probably just before episode eight. I would release that in theaters a month or two before the eighth installment hits theaters. That would give it the extra weeks needed to get it over the top.

I hope all of the funny parts aren't in the trailer but that was really funny.

Given what they've already made and will continue to make for weeks to come I doubt that the disturbance rates that high. On this film I would bet people who download it did so to over analyze it. But even those not doing that will still see it in a theater because this is one of those movies meant to be seen the way it was meant to seen. No cheap cut off camera pointing at the screen version will do.

They should have filmed it as one year long group of sessions and done retouch, re-shoot and filler after each release. Then the trilogy could have been an annual week of Christmas event. Though if the standalones have issues attracting the audience like the main story they can add things later to main story that are resolved in the standalones based on fan reaction.

You can have Star Wars in as many theaters as you want it doesn't mean you can just take theater away from someone else. Hateful Eight will sell out too so its not a money thing. It doesn't matter which movie sells the ticket it will be sold. They just wanted that big screen. They were afraid it was going to be another bad Star Wars so they didn't have this theater reserved. Once it was a know hit they took the theater.

The reality is simple, you don't go bac...

For me that was the best advertising the movie has had. One of the best I've seen from any movie. Anybody can show all the best parts of a movie in a trailer and leave you pissed after watching what went between those clips. I have had the same reservations about Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luther, but that Sorkinesque style interview has gotten my attention. It wouldn't be the first time you hear a name attached to a role and hate it only to see it and no longer having the ability to imag...

He has a point and he should be upset. While I would go to Star Wars first it was shot at the typical ratios most films use. Hateful Eight was shot using special lens that hadn't been used in decades. Theaters aren't even made with screens to fit this film. Imax isn't shot as big as this movie. He spent a ton of money getting these lenses in order an having them retooled to fit a modern camera. They knew Star Wars was releasing and his film around the same time. Star Wars can be s...
