yeah i watched season 1-3 and then quit. the show had some great moments but character writing was kind of bad for everyone who wasn't Darryl, Rick, or Carl. most of the seasons episodes were throw-aways that did little to advance any of the plot, only until the last three episodes of the season would it start moving forward. too much of nothing for me to stay invested. it just amazes me that the show is still going, its really nothing like the comic, so i don't see much of the draw. ...

well Star Wars The Clone Wars was a great TV show, and Star Wars Rebels look good as well, so i think the new films have a good chance of being good films. the prequels were bad largely in part to bad film making practices by Lucas and the studio, most films would turn out bad if they practiced the same disorganization and rushed job that Lucas and his studio did with the prequels.
well thats just a rumor, but yeah it does sound interesting. also the sith aren't inherently that bad, Count Dooku was a Sith but only because he disagreed with the Republic's ideals and the Jedi Order, he wasn't out to exterminate everything. Same with Palpatine, he was a Sith Lord, but his goal was absolute power and control, not killing everyone or destroying the galaxy. Sith might not be a s trustworthy as Jedi, but I'm not so sure they're willing to turn on everyone, ...

yeah i agree with the A or B scenario, that how i felt about Inception when i first saw the trailer for the first time. although with inception i ended up leaning toward the B answer of that film being pretentious. hope Atlas Cloud is a different story!

the rule of two wasn't around until Darth Bane created it. we also see that the rule of two isn't always follwed, but the rule of two is a balance sought by the Sith Lord. we see how this plays out in The Clone Wars TV show. JJ isn't rewriting Star Wars history at all, he's using the existing lore and canon from the previous films while likely adding his own ideas to nee lore.
