GoT is starting to bore me. It seems really disjointed since the focus came off the Starks. Killing off characters and introducing new ones (repeat cycle) might work in the books; in the books you get to know them more and get into it. There isn't enough time to do that on TV. Great production values no doubt but the plot is getting tiresome. Emilia Clarke also has to be the worst actress ever. Aiden Gillan seems to have liked Bale's Batman voice too.
Some of the acting is GOT is rubbish. Special nod goes to Emilia Clarke. Can't believe she is playing Sarah Connor in the next Terminator film. That's that bunched.
I said it before and I will say it again... for these kinds of roles he is milking, he is a great actor. Blow, Who's Eating Gilbert Grape, Donnie Brasco, etc. he is great in all of them more serious movies.
And the thing is Depp is great in serious films. Donnie Brasco, Whats Eating Gilbert Grape, Blow. He is a great actor.

If they bring back the original cast it could be great. Smith, Goldblum and Pullman.
Only line I though was different was I thought he said "thrashing this plane" instead of "crashing this plane". Works either way.
I agree. Bar any deaths, this was one of the saddest announcements in the movie industry in a long time for me, Dumb & Dumber is my favourite comedy of all time. My interest has gone from 100% to 0%.

The beauty of this movie, regardless of all the potholes in the plot, is seen right here in this thread and elsewhere on the interweb. It has so many interpretations!
Being a huge Alien fan and considering the tripe we have had to put up throughout the years, this was a breath of fresh air. It didn't level with the original and had a few hiccups but for the most part it was solid. I hope they go for a sequel.
This is what has me worried (for want of a better word) about TDKR. I have been a fan of Hardy since his epic performance in Bronson but I don't know if the character itself will give him the chance to be better than Heath Ledgers Joker. The Joker had it all; wit, viciousness, anarchic, etc. I'm not sure if Bane has the same range. In a nutshell, I don't know if TDKR will beat TDK because everytime I watch TDK I realise more and more that I am watching it because of the Joker ...
I found it very good but can see why some wouldn't like it. For me it was just good entertainment, which is what I expect from a super hero movie anyway!
I completely agree. Everyone is basing this films supposed greatness around the Dark Knight, which was really great because of Heath Ledgers performance. Take that away and it was just a good crime film, he gave it the edge that seperated it from just being good. Prometheus is where its at for me this summer :-)
The first one was my favourite comedy ever. If this is even close to the standard set by the first I will be impressed.

As a person who nearly cried every time they raped the Alien franchise I cannot wait for this movie. I trust Scott to do the right thing, as he did with the original film. Roll on June! Then let Jim Cameron make Prometheus 2 in two years time!
