ICM Partners has signed Swedish writer-director Alexandra-Therese Keining, the filmmaker behind the YA coming-of-age pic Girls Lost that premiered at this year’s Toronto Film Festival to critical raves. Girls Lost, adapted from the bestselling Swedish novel Boys, is about three outcast teenage girls who get a new perspective on high school life when they are mysteriously transformed into boys, in a skillfully crafted tale of sexual confusion with a supernatural twist.

In its first major sale this year, Jerry Bruckheimer Television is staying closer to its reality hit The Amazing Race than its stable of crime procedurals. ABC has given the company and Warner Bros. TV a put pilot commitment for an untitled hourlong project based on the blog and the book The Lost Girls.
