I really liked him. He was so interesting to listen to when he talked at Comic Con. So sad.

I know. His stories about rejecting and later accepting his role, dare I say typecast, as Spock was an interesting look at him as an evolution as both a person and an actor. If you haven't already, I recommend reading his two books I Am Not Spock and I Am Spock. Really good insight into his life and what he accepted.

Sadly a most beloved actor has passed away this week. Leonard Nimoy, was best known for playing Mr. Spock in the original Star Trek series. He inspired scientists to pursue exploring the wonders of space and taught us it was ok to be a social outcast. As Spock, Mr. Nimoy became the emotionless and loyal half-Vulcan. His acting on screen melted into a realism that showed viewers his phenomenal talent. Star Trek is Star Trek because of Spock and Leonard Nimoy’s performance.
