Lack of budget? Pirating? Good one! You mean the show that each episode costs over 2 million to make, and people actually downloading it outside of the countries it airs on native TV and cable are actually watching it via the internet, thus promoting it's popularity even further than the mega smash block busting hit it already is? Poor HBO!

Dont care about hbo, but having read the books and seeing absence s of certain things its obvious they avoid certain events and characters due to the budget.

If Martin really wanted us to see everything he created for the books well this wouldn´t be pages first and episodes after. It's a very well universe for tv created just I would like to know how many season until the last book...
