After all, it was his keen deduction skills that pinned one of Jess's students, Edgar (Nathan Corddry), as a crazy psycho killer living out his sadistic fantasies through a first-person narrative assignment. From there, the game was afoot, leading Nick to assume an alter ego, Julius Pepperwood, and spy on Jess's class.
