“Truth and Consequences” lacked the grace the last episode had. The narrative was overall clunky and stumbled into the good preacher getting bit by a live, poisonous snake and Raylan watching a dude shoot himself in the head and barely flinching.
There’s a saying in the newspaper industry: drown your puppies. Do the things that you need to to finish the story—or, in this case, move on with it. This episode was drowning the show’s puppies.
