To be fair it's probably one of the best plot twists ever in the sense that NO ONE who went to see the film saw it coming.

People play the race card way too easily these days. If they had a black human torch they'd have to have a black Invisible Woman too. I mean Marvel Studios are putting Falcon in Captain America 2 and there are rumours of a Black Panther film in Phase 3 and perhaps a Luke Cage film. What's the point in turning white characters black just so they don't look racist?
In fact if they did change his colour I'd play the race card as changing a character's colour...

I agree I hate how Moffat decided to scrap the idea of 2 parters especially when it comes to series finales, the last episode of the series before this felt rushed compared to the finale of every other series since the revival in 2005.
They should keep making Avengers films as long as they can keep it fresh. I'd quite happily go see The Avengers 10 as long as they could make it different to the other 9.
It's easy to see how Marvel Studios is the dominant comic book film maker. Their films are excellently made, based on some of the best comic book characters ever and made by Marvel themselves who actually know about the characters and their stories.
2014 was never considered for the next Bond film.
Ant-Man is a pretty good character. I can imagine how "he's a scientist that can shrink to the size of an ant" doesn't sound like it'll be as good as Iron Man or Thor to someone who's never heard of the character before but I promise you now the film will be great, especially with Edgar Wright at the helm.

Looks pretty strange but in a good way. I'm sure it will be a good series even if it short, at the end of the day I'd prefer a small series where every episode is amazing than a long series that drags.
I think it's quite good that War Machine has become Iron Patriot. After the Avengers saved the world heroes will be all the rage. The American government will want to capatlise on that by making Rhodey seem like a mixture of Cap't America and Iron Man.

Well they tried to have a deal with Sony to have the Oscorp building feature in the Avengers but it was too late by the time the deal was ready. I know they aren't actively trying to get the rights back but I imagine they'll strike up deals in the future so they can have crossover films like the rumours going around about World War Hulk coming to the silver screen.

This is good news, since 2008 Marvel Studios have continuously made great comic book films and they just keep getting better as they get more use to it. They have set the standard for what a comic book film should be and if you aim for anything less when making one then you're aiming for failure.
