I agree! I'm really curious to see what happens in the next Spider-Man movie. I'm looking forward to Iron Man 3 [Or Iron Man 4, if you include the Avengers movie] and the Man of Steel movie. These are the perfect movies to watch in IMAX theaters.
I really think they rushed the sequel's script when it comes to the story. I enjoyed the action sequences, but everything else was cringe worthy. I think the directors should just stick to directing action scenes. That definitely their strongest attributes in the films.
I was actually hoping Agent Smith would change in the sequels when he hopped into the human body. Discover the plight of humanity and fight on our side. Would have been an interesting transformation of the character, rather than just turning into a serial killer. Seeing Agent Smith fight against himself mentally and physically against the other Smiths would have been fun.
That's interesting. I was thinking the same thing, but with Denzel Washington instead. This should be a fun movie.
Yeah, I was thinking that to. It looks like a fun movie series for kids and the family.
The movie had potential to be a huge hit, but it was very mediocre. The villain was lame, the love interest was forced, and the pacing of the movie was just bad. I don't read the Green Lantern comics, but I know Sinestro is his archenemy. Not having Sinestro as the villain and betting on a sequel for him to arise was an idiotic idea.
"After constant experimentation with size-changing via ingested capsules and particle-filled gas, Pym is eventually able to change size at will, and mentally generate Pym particles to change the sizes of other living beings or inanimate objects. Pym retains his normal strength when "ant" size, and possesses greatly increased strength and stamina when in "giant" form, courtesy of the increased mass. Pym’s costume is synthetic stretch fabric composed of unstable molecul...
"I want pictures of Spider-Man and I want them 30 seconds ago! Get to work Parker or you're fired!" - JJJ
I really hope they bring back J.K. Simmons.
I think the majority of you are jumping the gun here. It's best to wait for the full results, before making a final judgement.
Avengers 2 is a couple of years away and hasn't even started production. There's a possibility of Iron Man 3 footage, but it's hard to say what they'll do. Either way, it'll be nice to see them altogether again at the oscars.
I'm confused. Did X-Men 3 happen or not?
Most of the film is rehashed since they wanted to establish everything in his high school days. We had to get through the spider bite and the Uncle Ben scenario again. So that took up a portion of the movies time. I didn't hate this movie, but I was disappointed by how rushed it felt. I liked it, when I should have loved it. It had so much of what I wanted just skimmed through and some things I could have done without. Hopefully, the next movie remedies some of the issues.
The death of uncle Ben was rushed in the comics as well, Peter Parker wasn't even there when it happened. So technically both movie series got it wrong. It's all about preference when it comes to that scene.
The movie wasn't "stupidly written" it was still sticking with the source material with liberties just like Rami. The Lizards motivations were just as silly as any other interpretation of the character. The Lizard isn't really the best Spider-Man...
Wow! This actually surprised me. There hasn't been a Mad Max movie since the 80's. That's something else to look forward to next year
I liked Tron: Legacy, but I was disappointed with the amount of screen time the games received. Not to mention the lack of Tron himself, but I understand they had some ground work to do for they could revitalize the series.
I will say out of all the 3D movies coming out these days, Tron: Legacy was best suited for utilizing the effects.
Classic Hong Kong movies are amazing. The talent pool during the 80's was outstanding as well. There were so many actors/actress that could not only act, but were able to do physical action as well.
I learned a lot from Bey Logan's commentary in the Dragon Dynasty dvds. Good stuff. :)
I see what you're saying about the author. That article had "butt-hurt" written all over it.
Can't blame Routh for a mediocre script. Routh actually did a great job with the little he had to work with, considering he got push aside for James Marsden's character. Which totally eliminated the Lois/Clark dynamic.
There's a few things that made Superman Returns falter. James Marsden's character, Lois's kid, recycled material from the first Superman movie and no formidable foe to fight other than a Kryptonite continent/mountain. Which I should add, he ...
Definitely watching this next year. I have a feeling I'm going to be buying it on Blu ray as well.
I agree. I don't trust Fox with Fantastic Four anymore. Wait...let me correct that...I don't trust Fox with any comic book franchise anymore.
