I'm pretty sure they were looking for a way to get rid of the actor that plays Jimmy, he drove the rv into the crowd to save Rick and Carl but yeah nobody would leave the door unlocked like that.
I read somewhere the actor was a dick so I'm lead to believe it was a reason to get rid of him. I mean he was on the farm the entire season and you only saw him like 3 times.

For a franchise this big it would be dumb not to remake it because of course it would rake in a ton of money, which it did. The people behind the movie just didn't handle it properly.
I read Rooney Mara only made like $200,000 (which is a ton but for the lead role of a movie this big it's nothing). Someone behind this film doesn't know how to handle money correctly.

Scott Pilgrim did bomb pretty hard but the film was pretty overrated by people that did see it. also the advertising for that movie was just awful.

I think I might pick up the compendium and read through it to pass the time. It sucks we have to wait until Fall for new episodes but I can wait, at least it isn't an entire year like other shows.
