Tom Riley explains what's in store for Leonardo DaVinci in the second season of the hit Starz TV series in this exclusive interview.
Deadline: The model of releasing entire seasons simultaneously is continuing to gain popularity. Starz has become the latest network to employ it for the third and final season of Da Vinci’s Demons and ballet-themed limited series Flesh And Bone. They will be available for Starz subscribers on Starz Play and Starz On Demand in the U.S. in conjunction with the premieres of their first episodes, October 24 and November 8, respectively. The announcement was made at TCA .
Deadline: Starz recently announced that the upcoming third season of Da Vinci’s Demons will be the period drama’s last. The series, which has been off the air for almost year and a half, has been a respectable performer, so the decision to end it before seeing how Season 3 does was somewhat of a surprise.
Deadline: Starz has set a October 24 premiere date for Season 3 of Da Vinci’s Demons, announcing it would be period drama’s final season and releasing key art. This means that Starz is yet to launch a original series that goes beyond three seasons, with Da Vinci’s Demons tying Spartacus: Blood And Sand as the pay cable network’s longest-running drama. (In addition to its three seasons, Spartacus also did a standalone prequel miniseries Gods of the Arena).
They already have a mobile game and a companion app.
