In five years time, hell probably in a year or two years time, nobody will be talking about this new COD. Joker though is a timeless movie, one which will be talked about for decades to come. Not that Kotick will care about that, he only cares about one thing.
Her being Palpatine's creation would be awesome, it would link him to this trilogy in an interesting way but I honestly think Kylo is the Skywalker referred to in the title or maybe they both are but TLJ felt like they were setting up Kylo as the tragic villain who dies at the end.
Well we are officially there, they are remaking remakes. I'm obviously biased but Scarface was perfect, literally perfect, so ahead of it's time and just oozing with 80s culture. Al Pacino was also perfect for the role, when perfect movies with such iconic characters are created, they should be banned from remaking them.
So glad I wasn't old enough to remember that..
I'm surprised this is new, kind of in line with what Disney is all about $$$$$$
I really hope in my lifetime we get to see Disney get what is coming to them.
This is sad really, he always seemed like a down to Earth nice guy, ranting about fans though is a huge no no.
I think the amount of comments you see in the Star Wars articles begs to differ.
Watch the first TFA trailer. While not a proper confirmation but Luke saying something along the lines of "The force is strong in my family, I have it, my sister has it, you have that power too" Could have been referring to Kylo but the way he says it sounds like he was addressing the main protagonist which would be Rey.
One of the TLJ leaks had Rey being the force reincarnation of Anakin, it sounded terrible, there was scene where Rey demanded to know if Luke was her father and he turns around and went something along the lines of "no you are my father" I'm so glad that was either fake or removed.
For me though it almost feels like that is the only logical explanation at this point. Never flew before yet could best multiple pro pilots. Could fix the Falcon better than Han, h...
Yeah, no thanks! What is it with Sony and these sort of things, wasn't the message heard loud and clear when Ghostbusters flopped?
Hold off the judgement until you see it, Robert Pattinson is a great actor who suffered due to the popularity and backlash surrounding the Twilight movies. He has flexed his acting talents in many movies since then, I remember groaning when my girlfriend tried to get me to watch Remember Me simply because he was in the movie but it changed my perception of him. He recently did The Lighthouse which is getting rave reviews too. Batman is his chance to prove his acting skills and while I think h...
Hope this is for the right reasons, shame as he'd make an amazing Penguin
Disney, making a bunch of live action adaptations nobody asked for meanwhile fans are having to go all out to try and convince then to do a sequel of a great movie. "Sorry everyone, we'd love to make Alita 2 but we're too busy blowing cash ruining your memories of Nightmare Before Christmas" .. you couldn't make it up.
Kylo is a great character, Rey not so much.
That's the difference between JJ and Rian, JJ obviously bothered to read the EU while Rian might as well not have.
That's what game idealist does, spams a bunch of articles which are nothing more than thinly veiled referral links.
So Disney is pulling another Disney. Them with the Star Wars license reminds me of that clip on the Simpsons of Side Show Bob where no matter where he walks, he keeps stepping on gardening rakes and gets hit in the face.
Oh dear, just as I was starting to get a little excited for the movie looking at the casting choices, seems Hollywood is determined to screw this one up too. Funny how even with more money behind these sort of movies than I'll ever make in my life time yet they are outdone by indies like Assassin's Fist and the MK series on youtube.
I always thought Scott Adkins would have been a great fit for the role if he isn't too old now. Lewis Tan is a great addition to the movie though, he was great in Into the Badlands but not as Cage.
I am. Alita is a live action manga adaption where the average movie goer wouldn't have heard of it. Terminator is one of the most iconic movie names in cinema history. I'd have thought Terminator would beat it in the box office based on name alone.
