It was a financial decision. Since its not my money and someone elses that someone else has the right to do what they think will make them more money.
Weather it will be a good decision and weather it will yield a better movie we will have to wait.
On the otherhand I understand people wanting to try someone different or give the chance to other minority actors but the thing is there must be other minority actors that are good or just as good as Scarjo.

The plot in Cap CW didn't make any sense to me but BvS did.
Avengers didn't cause the destruction in NY nor Ultron. Ultron was Tony and to some extent Bruce. Not the Avengers as a group. Laos incident without the Avengers thousands more people would have died instead of just 15. As such the Sokovia accord didn't make any sense.

Basically BvS was fairly different from the source and the plot made more sense to me personally. I have seen and read too many DC animation and comics that if Snyder were to stick to the source it would basically be a live action JL cartoon while not bad, it would be to samey to me.
I liked Snyder's different take on the characters. I like that both characters were very vulnerable and it made them more relateable for me personally. Superman is not the usual boy scout ...

The only saving grace is the action which is the best in any comic movie.

It was gut wrenching his portrayal.
Its pretty sad when a superhero TV series has more depth and emotion to their characters than their movie counterparts.
Its sad though because Cap movies were always more mature than the others but now its just another family fare marvel movie with many comedy parts.
The final and dark twist really didn't fit with the rest of the movie.
It was also so freaking stupid and ruined the whole movie for me.

I made a very big mistake in watching the trailers which had most of the best parts/comedic ones.
So when I watched it was flat because I knew what was coming.
The end as well was too predicable. It was still a good though.

@bruce. Yes. I am not going to waste my time on it to be honest. Even before they made all the cast female. It just looks very tacky and out of place in this day and age. It was great back in 1984 but its freaking 2016. Its like those b grade 80's fantasy movies like Krull. They were marvelous back then.
I would not mind a re imagining but for a franchise like GB it is hard to see how they can.
