Totally agree. This guy needs to stop writing reviews if this is what he took away from Godzilla. I personally liked the '98 version but I see how the '98 version strayed so far. It was always about Godzilla vs. other monsters.
The problem we have here is that 2 different entities own the rights for the characters. That's why in marvel, they will never be called SW and QS, even though we know who they are. In a fox owned movie, they would be called SW and QS.

If you have to ask that than you're an idiot. The only actor who actually even resembles Nathan Drake is Fillion. That's what fans want, actors who like like and act like the characters they're portraying.
