I'll probably still watch the show as i love Hellblazer and Justice League Dark and even liked the Keanu Reeves movie (to an extent) but i was hoping he'd be a walking around smoking like a chimney. I hope they find a their "workaround".

They announced to be working on an animated Aquaman movie a little while back if i'm not mistaken (Guess this is it, kinda). They also said Aquaman was their "first priority" after Man of Steel released to theaters.

Hope so! Although it's really up to Terrio & Snyder. Snyder doesn't shy away from anything in comics. He even includes Rorshach's moving ink blot mask and had Dr. Manhattan walking around nude.

Not really. Movies actually film pretty quickly. 300 was filmed entirely in 2-3 months. Took a year to add all the cgi though lol. The first Saw was filmed in 18 days. Most movies aren't filmed in cronological order so chances are they filmed all of his scenes first.

Sure the guy's been heavily type-cast in those roles but he might have more to him than that. And "The cocky, arrogant dick" is pretty much Lex. The guy was runner up to Joaquin Pheonix. Surely that's a good thing right?

We'll see lol. All of Snyder's comic book adaptations have been spot-on. Superman, Check. Batman (look-wise), Check. Rorshach, Check. Dr. Manhattan, Check. The Comedian, Check. Silk Spectre, Double Check. Nite Owl, Double Check. The entire 300 movie, Checkmate.
Say what you want but Snyder's characters look like they walked off the pages of their respective comic. I bet if Momoa does get the role, he'll look exactly like the Peter David Aquaman. Minus the hook...
