It definitely would but let's face it, $$$ talks. After Spider-man is done with the MCU deal, he's gonna be hot off The Avengers Infinity War 2. Which means his next solo outing will be huge! Wether it's crap or not. Sony will wanna rake up all that dough without the deal with Marvel in between. This Venom movie, and the Black Cat movie and the exclusive Spider-man game is just them planting the seeds. I just hope they know what they are doing.
Agreed, it's sucks to see something try and break the typical mold we are currently stuck in but ends up "too different" so people tear it to shreds. Everyone's biggest complaints were "it's too dark" or "it was not funny"... Well it was a dark movie, and it wasn't meant to be funny. That's about it. It was advertised as is, I fail to see why people expected anything else. Seeing Batman V Superman try to be more than just your typical CB movie...

Agree wholeheartedly. But... I can't be the only one hating Thor's new look!? I've always hated how "pretty" they always tried to make him look in the first few movies. His beard always so meticulously trimmed. His hair, so silky smooth and shiny as if it was rinsed with the finest hair conditioners known to Asgard. He much better in AoU and Thor: TDW as opposed to his first few outings. But now he looks so modern :/
