Although can she play assertiveness?! I loved her in Haven but as a sorta smarty pants detective with lots of flaws. She was constantly scared or in a state of panic in Haven. Emotions she conveyed well. But whenever she became tough and "grrr" she kinda lost me and was a tad terrible.
Brie Larson is pretty good. Not my first choice but no complaints.
Bruce knows about an impending attack on humanity. Why would he not go to the other meta-humans for help? Why would he not warn them and just assume they'd help when the time came!?!? I disagree about Doomsday! Batman and Superman fighting wasn't just about punches and kicks but about ideologies! Both have the same gig of being a superhero but both take very different routes, be it by inspiring hope or inflicting fear....
