I dunno man, a lot of the characters from Rogue One were charismatic and likeable. I enjoyed Poe as well when they weren't busy writing him to suddenly be an inept idiot to push an agenda like in TLJ. I agree about Finn and many others though, and they particiulary completely wasted Finn. Boyega deserved better.

How about instead of changing the gender/ethnicity of pre-existing characters, they just made new ones that are interesting instead? I guess that's a no-go, because it'd require some effort and creativity.
