Couldn't see it last night, I had ice cream in the car when I stopped @ the theatre. So I will go check it out tonight and watch Sam Witwicky escape near death as if he were in Final Destination movies.
And you'll feel just like Sam Witwicky. I'm going to see it even if it scored a 1. As a childhood fan of the original TV Cartoon series, I have a weakness.

It is one of my all time worst films, a waste of Bruce and Sam's talents IMO. I like Lady in the Water better with Paul Giamatti (one of my faves). M. Night couldn't shoot a film out of a wet paper bag. Look at what abomination he made of The Last Airbender. Only an idiot like Shymalan would change the NAME of the main character of an established series. I mean he changed AANG to UNG in pronunciation. I don't think so. I would like to see Nightcrawler, Colossus, Juggernaut, Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Sabertooth, and Exodus. I also want to see Sentinels and Avalon.
It is always great to get someone's perspective who is familiar with the material. I'm glad you kept an open mind and the clean slate approach. It looks as if movies that are based on comics nowadays are doing much better. I may check this out after I see Super 8.

The idea of his hand up the butt of a stuffed beaver so he can talk to people is kinda strange. Riggs still has mental issues i suppose.
I can't take Ryan seriously. I thought he was too goofy a pic for the role. Soldier is right, i could see him being the Flash more easily. Maybe the Riddler perhaps.
It is said that Idris Elba was approached to play the next Bond, but turned it down because of the backlash that racism brings. It is unfortunate, because Heimdall could've been great at being Bond. Instead we have the bit part woman who was in Captain Marvel. If Bond is dead it is because of the 1 two punch of racists and overcorrecting feminists. Who will she be, Jasmine Bond? I don't want to see a female Bond anymore than I want to see a man as the Little Mermaid.
