I think it is too early to tell. I think the writers could go either way. Either make this version of Penguin into the Joker or introduce a new Joker at a later date. Will be interesting if they turn Penguin into the Joker.
Even if he doesn't win the Oscar I am sure his career is going to get a lot better from now on.

Well I think he was good enough but because of the taboo around performance capture I feel they may try to downgrade him to supporting. I hope they wouldn't do that though.
Well I think the Academy should recognise Serkis as an actor. Rather see him get a leading nomination but if he does get one I reckon they may give him a supporting for the sake of it.
If Vin Diesel gets one then Andy Serkis needs one for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
I think comic con is most likely. Showing a proper trailer off in May with Mad Max is still very early. If it is shown at comic con then people will probably be more willing to seek it out at that time. I have a feeling that a full trailer could not be till December.
Archer is so good. I used to see it advertised and think it looks bad but when I sat down and watched it I really took to it.
I am surprised his name was not thrown around more as he had worked with Derrickson so recently.
