Game of Thrones finally returns to the airwaves this Sunday, but the next “event series” on HBO’s docket is the fifth season of True Blood. We’ve seen one teaser trailer for the new season already, but the cable channel has just released three more. They don’t show any of the characters from the series, but instead take us on tours of a few familiar settings from Bon Temps while some appropriate audio clips play over the footage. Christopher Meloni joins the cast this season as an “ancient and powerful vampire,” and season five will also serve as executive producer Alan Ball’s final year as showrunner.

Cooking Up Murder: Uncovering the Story of César Román Review: The documentary investigates the mysterious murder case of Heydi Paz and her convicted chef boyfriend.
Mother of the Bride Review: The rom-com follows soon-to-be wedded couple, RJ & Emma and the chaos that ensues when their former lover parents come across.
Dark Matter Review: Although some of its runtime might be quite dense, there are moments in this sci-fi series that leaves you at the edge of your seat.
I guess I need to get this last season from my neighbor so I can catch up before this next starts up. There is so much that has happened that I don't even know about and I don't want to read anything because I haven't seen anything yet.
Absolutely no new footage isn't exactly a tease. I'm hoping the show wraps up soon, it's becoming hardcore cheesy and way too wrapped up in love stories.
