Sticky Trigger Exclusive Review - The FP

Sticky Trigger writes:
Ultimately with the film's 83 minute runtime, the jokes never get stale, the characters never boring and the music never soft, The FP has cult film written all over it and it never overstays it's welcome. For those expecting a video game movie, you could do a hell of a lot worse, but for now The FP is a contender for cult film of 2012 and I do hope we get it in Australia soon.

The FP Blu-ray Review - WGTC

Jeremy of We Got This Covered wrote, "Brothers Brandon and Jason Trost have put everything into their passion project titled The FP. It’s a bizarre tale about two rival gangs that battle it out not with weapons, but with dancing. The FP takes the popular game Dance, Dance, Revolution to the next level, introducing a whole new wacky world, full of over-the-top characters and scenarios. I can see where the Trost Bros. were going; I just didn’t have as much fun watching it as they did making it."

The LRA Show Ep. 59 - Rock Of Ages

LRA writes: With two movies dealing with 80's nostalgia we had to make a decision as to which one would take precedent. Betcha can't guess which one won? Even though That's My Boy lost the coin toss that doesn't mean I can't throw my two cents in on the new Adam Sandler comedy but before we get into that Brian talks about his recent journey to Cars Land at Disneyland which brings up some suppressed memories of the horrible Cars 2. We also find some time to discuss the many trailers we got subjected to this weekend and I weigh in on the recently released blu-ray for that ridiculously awesome movie, The FP. Then we hitch a ride on the time traveling machine back to 1987 where we discuss the new rock musical, Rock of Ages. Featured music this week is from the "Rock of Ages" motion picture soundtrack.

LRA: The FP - Blu-ray Review

LRA writes: My original review for The FP was slightly...absurd, I admit that. I got a lot of interesting responses to it from different people, most of which included a baffled look and/or complete disinterest. I understand the disconnect there, unless you saw the film it really didn't do much to give any sort of insight into what the film was all about. But even with that hurdle, I still feel as though anyone that didn't get the joke I was shooting for with that review would most likely not be someone who would enjoy what The FP is. This is a film made by a family and their closest friends to be as ridiculously stupid and over the top as possible and some people either just don't get it or are ill-equipped to handle the joke of it all. As stated with a direct quote from the actor who plays KCDC, "It's not there to offend, it's just there to make you laugh".
