Walter Black (Mel Gibson - Lethal Weapon) is in the midst of a crippling bout of depression which has led him to shun his wife Meredith (Jodie Foster – Maverick) and their kids. Isolated and alone, Walter decides to take his own life but even screws that up. He then stumbles upon an old, dusty kids toy in a dumpster and feels a connection. Putting the toy on his hand, Walter now has the confidence to tackle his problems head on. The only trouble is, he can now only communicate through his glove puppet, the beaver.
I'd give this a 4/5.. sweet movie!
The idea of his hand up the butt of a stuffed beaver so he can talk to people is kinda strange. Riggs still has mental issues i suppose.
I haven't had a chance to see it. It was limited release and wasn't anywhere near where I live so I'll see it when it comes out on dvd. I do like Gibson also and I think it's a different type movie then what I usually get into but with Jodie Foster and him I'm going to give it a chance.
Gotta see this one.. love mel gibson XD
