5 Things Thor Does Better Than Iron Man 2

Cinemablend: In many different ways, Marvel Studios and Paramount are trying to make Thor this year's Iron Man 2. Released in the exact same first-weekend-of-May slot that hosted both Iron Man movies, boasting a strong handful of references to Tony Stark himself and picking up more of the Avengers world-building that started in last year's sequel, Thor is the next link in what Marvel hopes will be a long, complicated chain of blockbuster superhero stories. Of course, that means Thor faces many of the same challenges as Iron Man 2, not just in setting up the Avengers mythology, but in making audience care about yet another handsome guy with superpowers.

I didn't have any interest in seeing Thor until I read this (cept for Portman). I thought Ironman 2 was pretty decent but if this outclasses it then it should be a good time.

The character seems pretty lame to me though. Having a hammer as a weapon doesn't help.

Hammer bad, sword good. Gotcha :p

I wanna see a superhero that takes people out with 3 inch daggers =D

Christopher4739d ago

So, a smurf superhero? :p

A smurf-like superhero movie with miniature daggers gutting people is something I need in my life.

Zooey Deschanel can be the love interest.

Sorry guys...I'm looking forward to seeing Thor and I'm sure I'm going to just love it...but don't talk about my Iron Man that way. I'm very sensitive about Iron Man....no one can take his place in my heart.

Nes_Daze4740d ago

I haven't watched Thor yet, but I have a feeling that it isn't that much better than Iron Man.

I though Iron Man 2 was pretty good, a lot better then Iron Man 1. But Thor looks meh, still on the fence about seeing it in theaters.

alycakes4740d ago

I'm going to see it but it still won't take the place of Iron Man for me. My mind and head is made up and Robert Downey Jr. had that part down to a science...can't wait for the next one.
