EW writes:
The ballerina who served as a dancing double for Natalie Portman’s Oscar-winnning role in Black Swan tells EW she has been the victim of a “cover-up” to mislead the public about how much dancing Portman actually did in the film. “Of the full body shots, I would say 5 percent are Natalie,” says Sarah Lane, 27, an American Ballet Theatre soloist who performed many of the film’s complicated dance sequences, allowing Portman’s face to be digitally grafted onto her body. “All the other shots are me.”
The latest "Deadpool & Wolverine" trailer gave us a glimpse at the MCU's golden boys kicking butt and taking names - as well as a whole mess of Easter eggs.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
You know, if it was just Portman going around saying how much of the dancing she did herself, I'd be more inclined to believe the body double. However, the lead choreographer and Aronofsky, and other memebers of the cast have remarked on how much she did. Maybe it wasn't s full 85%, but I doubt that the body double lady is telling the truth that it was only 5%.
Controversy. It's everywhere.
Who cares really?
@DLZ - She wants recognition? Here's some.
"Great job on the dancing you did in Black Swan. Now get over it and move along you self absorbed jackass."
Are there Oscars for stunt doubles? Not that I've heard of. She should realize that if she's going to be the body double of Natalie Portman, don't expect any external recognition. Natalie is the actor. You were a body. This is the cinema...where they act. It's just dancers who always want the spotlight. Just be glad that you were in an oscar winning movie. This is Hollywood, not the Ballet.
