Heat Vision says:
Actor Channing Tatum, screenwriter Billy Ray and producer Joe Roth are seeking to tell the origin of Peter Pan with a pitch package that went out to studios Tuesday. Not much is known in the way of details, but the project carries the title Peter Pan Begins.
The pitch is the latest in the newest Hollywood development trend that has execs moving beyond comic books and toys and on to classic literature reading lists -- and no one is more at the forefront of this lit movement than Roth.
The latest "Deadpool & Wolverine" trailer gave us a glimpse at the MCU's golden boys kicking butt and taking names - as well as a whole mess of Easter eggs.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
I don't see what the big deal is with Channing Tatum but people keep casting him in movies. As for the Peter Pan story, the only good Peter Pan story told was Hook. Aside from that I'm just not a big fan of the character.
Hook was by far my favorite adaptation of the Peter Pan story (of course the Disney Cartoon is good to), but the last attempt at live action was just terrible. I couldn't get into it at all.
I'm cautiously excited for this movie though. I love the Peter Pan story and have been waiting for a really good adaptation to come around again. I can't say I'm impressed with the title or Channing Tatum, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
sounds cool...i would like to see a dark peter pan movie where it would be hard to think happy thoughts to fly...i cant imagine this guy being peter though
Will they call the sequel to this "The Green Knight"?
