The 2011 installment of the BAFTA awards occurred today. With The King's Speech taking top honors, here is the full list of winners.
BAFTA LA has set Matt Damon as the recipient of its Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film.
La La Land continued the march toward its increasingly-inevitable big night at the Academy Awards by winning big at the BAFTAs over the weekend.
Deadline: John Boyega, Room’s Brie Larson and Kingsman: The Secret Service‘s Taron Egerton are among the nominees for this year’s BAFTA Rising Star Award. Also in the mix are Dakota Johnson (Fifty Shades Of Grey) and Bel Powley (The Diary Of A Teenage Girl). The award, which has previously been won by the likes of Tom Hardy, James MacAvoy and Kristen Stewart, is voted on by the public. Jack O’Connell took it last year following his memorable performance in Yann Demange’s stunning feature directorial debut, ’71.
Not surprising that The King's Speech walked away with most of the awards.
