Coming Soon says:
Jeri Ryan ("Star Trek: Voyager," "Leverage," "Boston Public") confirmed on her Twitter account that she will be reprising the role of Sonya in Warner Premiere's "Mortal Kombat" digital series that has started filming in Vancouver.
She writes: Heading to the farmer's market with the hubs & my girl. Then this evening I head to Vancouver to shoot Mortal Kombat! (NOW it's official)
City Hunter Review: The manga adaptation unravels the tragic beginning of Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura's partnership.
Deliver Me Review: The Swedish series follows two troubled teen and their troublesome lives when one of them is shot dead.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
Again, I just can't get that excited for this series. It just isn't Mortal Kombat for me. I'm sure it'll be good, but it won't be MK.
For me, a big part of what makes MK great are the fantastical elements. I don't think you have to make everything natural and realistic to make it successful. Knowing what they do now, they could make a fantastical MK series/movie that would be very awesome.
Like I've said before, I'm sure this series will be great and have some truly awesome moments...but it still won't feel like MK to me.
