Entertainment Weekly says:
Attending the MTV upfront presentation in New York, Tim Stack reports that the network just announced that Beavis & Butt-Head will indeed make its triumphant return to the network. The announcement confirms previous online reports, some from creator Mike Judge himself, that MTV was working on a return of the hit series.
When will Beavis air? Executives did not say. But they did give a premiere date for the network’s TV series version of Teen Wolf. The drama will debut June 5, after the MTV Movie Awards.

The Doomsday Cult of Antares De La Luz Review: The documentary explores how the cult members were coerced in the group and made accomplice of heinous crimes.
Don’t let the cringey awkwardness of The Office fool you: Michael Scott would actually be the perfect boss.
I wasn't much of a fan of Beavis and Butthead but I found myself really digging the show after a while so I'm looking forward to a triumphant return to the airwaves. Teen Wolf was a fun movie when I was a kid and it really hasn't aged very well. I'm hopeful that this take on it provides a bit more of a darker tone to the series.
I have a feeling it will fail just like when Ren and Stimpy tried to come back after getting kicked off Nickelodeon. Its a 90's cartoon and it was great for the 90's. It wont work with today.
It has a massive fanbase so i could be wrong, but other than that I dunno. Guess it depends how they do it, and if it can compete with the likes of Family Guy.
I never got into Beavis and Butthead too much. I liked the movie alright. Just the show never really stuck with me. I do agree with Soldier in that I'm not sure it would work today.
