I didn't really like the first one, and usually I like Tom Clancy stories.
I remember loving the Original 20000 Leagues as a kid but it's been such a long time since I've seen it that I may not enjoy it as much. The story and idea though is great and well due a revisit with modern filming techniques.
I thought Atlantis was kinda cool when I was young in the original movie but again, I was just a wee lad when that came out. A proper retelling of a few of those stories you mentioned could be well worth a big budget venture for someone. Treasure Island would be AWESOME! Sadly I think it would just be compared to Pirates of the Caribbean but I think if done right it could be huge.
