HitFix:
When Aronofsky was settling in for the interview, I mentioned to him that I had run into Matty Libatique the other night, and Aronofsky smiled. "I saw that." He offered up one correction to the information that we've run on the film so far, though, and as far as I can tell, this is the first time I've heard this.
The film that he's directing is officially called "The Wolverine," and there won't be a number attached to it. In our interview, he referred to the movie as a "one-off," and he emphasized that the film isn't a sequel in any conventional sense.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
It's not a sequel!! That makes this infinitely more awesome I think.
Already my hopes are getting high for this film. The last one sucked, and as long as they stay away from it, they should be off to a better start.
My problem with this film though, is still the same as the last one...continuity with the movies is sure to suffer.
Wolverine is great and edgy character. Hope that he captures that and it is better than the last film about Wolverine.
Its good that it has nothing to do with X-Men Origins Wolverine, it sucked.
