Captain Marvel had so much potential but unfortunately she is one of the most disliked characters in the MCU. However, she might make the greatest villain.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga brings all the noise and heavy-metal action, but it also delivers an epic story about human resilience.
Yesterday After Tomorrow Review: The movie has its moments but falls flat due to its lacking character depths and bad acting.
What are some of the biggest movie sequels heading your way throughout the remainder of 2024? MenStuff takes a look at the most-anticipated incoming follow-ups.
“Most disliked character in the MCU” Yes, by oversensitive internet dicks, not by General Audience who supported her film to gross over 1 billion dollars and lead to solid Blu-ray sales. But gotta cash in those hate-clicks.
This would actually be a great way to salvage the character. I hate Captain Marvel, not because she's a women or Brie Larson but because she's MCU's Superman and I F&**ING hate Superman!! A Superman always ruins everything simply because she's too damn powerful. She was my greatest fear and it's been realized.
Take her entrance in Endgame for example. She demolished Thanos' ship all by herself, how much cooler would it have been for the Ravagers, the old Guardians of the Galaxy and Iron Man to take it down with the Proton Cannon instead? Instead, she one shotted it and then proceeded to have difficulty getting the gauntlet to the damn time machine which meant she was basically nerfed midway.
Her being there just killed the momentum. Turning her evil via corruption or whatever would be great, she'd make a great villain until she can rescued and her powers toned down..And yeah, maybe recast Brie while you're at it, Katheryn Winnick has always been the better choice.
But she's already a feminist
No thanks.
