Video game movies don't have the best reputation, but some of our favorite game franchises are getting brand new adaptations that may change that. Whether they're coming to the big or small screen, it looks like some of these could actually be... good?
The Idea of You Review: Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine's electric chemistry is thoroughly enjoyable in simple, fluffy romantic film.
Heeramandi Review: Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic is a mesmerising watch, filled with revenge and the struggle for love and power.
Fiasco Review: This series is weirdly good at making you laugh and roll with its absurdity.
No, the MH movie isn't up in the air. It's in damn modern day. They literally got ahold of 1 of the hardest games to mess up and then messed it up already by bringing like... Modern day military soldiers suddenly find themselves in the world of MH. It's already dumb and Anderson's a hack.
Anderson is on the same level of Uwe Boll. He just manages to get bigger budgets. And Jovovich has only acted genuinely good in a few of her movies where she stars as the lead. I have zero interest for Monster Hunter.
Now The Witcher, I’m cautiously optimistic about. Everything seems good on paper. But it could just as easily be bad. Hoping it’s good though.
