The Get Down's second half was a shorter, messier affair that got a bit too consumed with cartoons and melodrama, but there were still many moments when the music itself was able to elevate the story and transform the series into something inspirational. For all the show's bluster, you care about the characters and their individual journeys - from Zeke to Mylene to Jimmy Smits' Papa Fuerte and Kevin Corrigan's Jackie Moreno. Fundamentally, it's fun and it works and should it return for an official Season 2, there's more story to tell.
Ashley Madison-Sex Lies and Scandal Review: The documentary refuses to take a stand on whether or not it wants us to feel bad for cheaters, infuriating viewers with its wishy washy attitude.
Outer Range Season 2 Review: This season is as insane and slow as the last part and doesn't attempt to answer any questions, while adding on to those of the last one.
Monster Review: While this film delivers elements of horror and thriller, they're only sporadically effective, leaving the overall experience falling short of expectations.
