Well the netflix are series not big blockbuster movies like avengers etc... Also even they had backstory that was shown. So of course these lesser known hero has to have backstory to let people that don't know them know them. Me personally has no issue with there series. It seems people saying it's boring but really it isn't theyre just action hungry. Also don't understand why people rush a series and watch all episodes in one day. Also it got 5 stars on netflix so I guess people actually like it and I'm sure alot black people like it which I am black myself like it.
